Greetings everyone,
We're so excited to be starting a new playgroup the first Thursday of the month. Recently Leslie and myself attended a seminar in Baltimore on Matrix Energetics www.matrixenergetics.com a way to shift your consciousness to affect reality making use of the properties of quantum physics. Don't worry it's not as complicated as it sounds, and it is a lot of fun. Come and play with us and begin to learn how to shift your reality into the life you want. The playgroup is free, but you may want to bring some snacks to munch. The first playgroup will be December the 4th at 6:30 PM and will goto around 8 PM.
We recommend that you read the book Matrix Energetics prior to coming to get a little background, but if you're totally new to the process that's alright. Get ready to start shifting your reality.
Peace and Blessings,
Thomas Mooneagle

The latest
Greetings all,
It's been a busy month so far. I hope everyone weathered Ike and its aftermath well. The retreat center never lost electricity. This past Saturday we held our Faery and Devas workshop as scheduled. We worked with wind and water spirits (if only we had done it sooner alas), and had some wonderful experiences. First we communicated with wind devas and out of this communication I felt drawn to build a wind shrine from the fallen branches which came from our big storm. To speak with water spirits we took a short field trip to a nearby park with a lake. We all received the message that the lake spirit would like us to come back. In the spirit of cooperation we intend to hold drumming ceremonies there several times in the upcoming year to bless her waters. I'd like to thank everyone who participated, and of course the spirits of nature themselves. Until later.
Peace and Blessings,
Thomas Mooneagle

Faeries & Devas Workshops
Greetings everyone,
It's September and that means another workshop. This time we are going to be working with wind and water spirits. The workshop will be held from 1 - 3 PM at the Retreat Center. As always it will be part discussion and part experiential. Hope you can come out and join us as the magic of the seasons turning thins the veil between our world and the Faery Realm.
Peace and Blessing,
Thomas Mooneagle

August thus far
Well,
It's been a busy month for us at the retreat center. We've been all over the place the past few weeks. Leslie worked at The Spirits of Light Psychic Fair last weekend and this Friday we gave a Reiki talk at the St. Matthew's Rainbow Blossom.
Today we had our latest installment of the summer workshop series Communicating with Faeries, Devas & Nature Spirits. The weather this week has been great, but today was particularly lovely for working outdoors. Our focus this month was talking with tree spirits and introducing the mystical people popularly called elves, but also known as the sidhe or fair folk. It was a great workshop and both the participants and we the facilitators had wonderful experiences with touching the other side of the veil. We love what we do here at Compassion Retreat Center and more people are beginning to know about it, and that has been the most exciting part of this summer. We hope to see you all at our next workshop.
Peace and Blessings,
Rev. Thomas Mooneagle
p.s. We have had several requests for a Reiki class with attunements if you're interested contact us so we may set a date.

A new link is born
Leslie and her business partner Lori have worked very hard to make merlinite the magician's stone available to the public. They are the supply line for this very rare and powerful magical stone, and they finally have a website. So it is with great pleasure that I add them to our list of links on The Haven's official website.
Peace and Blessings,
Thomas Mooneagle
